When I first got started with photography, I had to learn everything for myself. I always wished so badly I could connect with a professional to ask questions, get feedback on my photos, and learn their methods. Watching Youtube videos and reading books can be immensely helpful, but ultimately, there is no substitute for one-on-one time with a pro. You can learn a lot from watching, but what if you could actually work alongside an expert as they edit your own photos, teach you all their tips and tricks, and help you master the craft?

YOUR STYLE

I’ll get to know you first. What type of things do you like to shoot? What mood or look are you trying to achieve with your photos? What photographers inspire you? What do you feel like you need to improve the most? All of this information will help me make the most out of our sessions, as we focus on the topics and techniques you want to discuss. You will receive a customized agenda for our session that will help you remember what all we discuss and be prepared for your next session.

EDITING

I’ll share my screen as I edit your photos, teaching you the ins and outs of Adobe Lightroom. Once I know what look you want to achieve, I will help you develop your style. I’ll show you how to get the most out of whichever editing presets you prefer to use. We’ll go over difficult situations—how to fix difficult lighting, how to get skin tones just right, and how you can add some flair to each image. After we’re done, I’ll send you my edits and the lightroom catalogue so you can review what all we did.

SHOOTING

I will review your images and give you feedback with shooting tips for next time. We will perfect your technical skills, composition, and posing. On your next shoot, you will be more confident with your camera settings.
